How long does it take to build a deck?
Most standard decks are built in about one to two weeks once materials arrive and any required permits are in hand. Larger or multi-level builds and covered porches take longer. We give you a timeline with your quote.
Should I choose wood or composite?
Pressure-treated pine costs less up front and looks great when maintained. Composite costs more but won't need staining and resists splintering. We'll walk you through both options for your budget.
Can you repair my existing deck instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. If the framing is sound we can replace boards, railings and stairs. If we find structural problems we'll explain them and show you your options.
